Walk D: Henley on Thames: Town, River and Woodland (with lunch at Greys Court)

A truly beautiful route from start to finish

We wander through Henley and follow the river before climbing gently up into Harpsden Wood. From there, it’s all about the magic of the Chilterns, winding through High Wood, the quiet hamlet of Mays Green, and on through Bones Wood and Gillsmithers Wood.

At around 7.5 miles, we pass through Greys Court (National Trust) the perfect spot to pause for a relaxed lunch, before continuing on through Lambridge Wood and across Badgemoor Park Golf Club

A route full of variety, peaceful woodland, and those moments that make you slow down and take it all in.
