  • No. Our walks are designed for women of all abilities. We walk at a comfortable, conversational pace with plenty of pauses. If you can walk for an hour at a steady pace, you’ll be absolutely fine. Message me and I can advise the best walk to start with if you are worried.m description

  • Most women come alone on their first walk. You’ll be welcomed straight away, and the group naturally blends into easy, friendly conversation. You won’t feel like an outsider for a moment.

  • Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing. Walking boots or sturdy trainers are ideal. No specialist outdoor gear needed.

  • No, not for your first few walks, however walking boots are an essential piece of walking equipment you will be wanting to invest as they help make a walk far more enjoyable and safer

  • Just the basics:

    • Water

    • A light snack (optional)

    • A small backpack

    • A waterproof layer if rain is likely

    • Any personal medication

  • Most local walks are 4–6 miles and last 2–2.5 hours.

    Monthly mini-adventures will be approximately 10 miles 

  • You will.

    We walk together, as a group. No one is ever left behind. The pace is always set with the slowest member in mind.

  • We walk unless the weather is unsafe. Often, rainy walks end up being the most memorable! Just bring a waterproof coat. If conditions are genuinely dangerous, we reschedule.

  • Some walks are dog-friendly, others aren’t, depending on livestock and terrain. Please message me if you would like to bring your dog.

  • Typically 6–15 women.

    Big enough for community, small enough to feel personal and safe.

  • Women aged 40+ who want connection, confidence, community, gentle adventure and healthy movement. Beginners are very welcome.

  • No. You don’t need hiking experience, fancy kit, or a background in fitness. 

  • 24 hours notice.

  • Absolutely. Every walk is risk-assessed and planned with safety first. Routes are checked in advance, and you’ll always have a trained, experienced leader (me!) guiding the group.

  • Completely. Almost everyone feels this way before their first walk and almost everyone finishes saying, “I’m so glad I came.”

    You will be warmly welcomed, looked after and supported.
