This route was featured in Country Walking magazine. Starting from Gossmore car park, we follow the Thames towards Bourne End before turning off to walk past the Spade Oak Nature Reserve and through the picturesque village of Little Marlow. After crossing the main road, we soon begin to climb a hill, rewarded with lovely views across the valley.

Joining the Chiltern Way, we cross open fields and pass through Marlow Bottom. Continuing uphill through farmland, we enjoy more marvellous views before descending and then ascending again to Bovingdon Green. Skirting woodland, we drop down into Happy Valley and head back towards Marlow. Cutting down Pound Lane, we rejoin the Thames Path for the return to the start of the route.
